WALLER — It took a little bit of “help,” but the Waller Lady Bulldogs have finished their regular season with the school’s best ever overall record and one final match for a Conference 6A playoff berth.
The Lady Dogs finished the 2024 campaign with a 35-14, besting the school’s most single-season wins by a single match. That was also the last time that Waller was in the playoffs in 2012, according to the team’s head coach.
Bottom Line Up Front
The Waller High School volleyball team is battling for entry into the 2024 Texas playoffs. They split league battles with CyFair ISD’s Langham Creek High School, and then matched their district record, thus forcing one final battle for the fourth and final playoff berth from District 16-6A. The winner gets to move on for a Bi-District Championship match early next week, as of press deadline the potential teams from District 15-6A are not announced on the UIL’s playoff brackets.
The aforementioned “help” came in the form of Cy Ranch defeating Langham Creek at the same time for their regular season finale. Cy Ranch High School is currently tied for first place in District 16-6A.
